A mark left in advance of its wound.

Some marks arrive before the blow that would explain them. Impact Scar takes that reversal as its ground: a space where sound, image, and body are treated as one surface, each able to hold a trace — anatomy brought to the skin, grief given something to move through, gentleness and violence folded into the same gesture.
